Landscape at meramec

In our photography class our instructor, Tony, took our class out into Meramec's garden area to take pictures using the +/- on our cameras. These are the pictures i took.

These are pictures of my brother, Jeremy. He is an EMT in training to become a firefighter. He was tired because he worked a 8am-midnight shift. But he's a trooper and let me take his pictures.

I really liked this assignment. It was fun to go out and see a bunch of awesome things at Castlewood.

ISO Assignment

This week we were assigned to work on a portrait using different ISO settings. I noticed that as the ISO number went higher the picture would show up brighter to the point where i couldn't see my subject anymore. I'm learning so much about my camera. This class is great.

After the first week...

I gave it some thought (not putting much thought into it) and decided I will stick around this photography class. It's been awhile since i've been up at 7am. Kind of forgot that there was a such thing as 7am. It will be a delight to learn more about my camera. After all...all I was doing was point, shooting, and hoping it'd turn out cool. Here's to a semester of Digital Photography. And, please, forgive me if I fall asleep. :)
